Read by Mrs Lloyd this week! Task: If you had a magic paintbrush, what would you paint and for who? Draw pictures and write a few sentences to explain what you would paint, for who and why. Would you paint yourself anything? Have a chat with someone in your house about whether it would be ok to be greedy and paint yourself lots of valuable things but not for others. Let us know what you think!
Watch this video so you know what's expected and then write your very own Narnia adventure!
Watch this video and use the photo of writing skills on Edmodo to finish this story.
Why didn't the Professor seem surprised when the children told him about Narnia? When do you think they will go back to Narnia? Why? How? Can you write your own story about their next adventure in Narnia. How do they get there? Why are they needed? What has gone wrong in Narnia to need them back? Whi is the enemy now? How do the children solve the problem? How do they get home?
Aslan and the Witch are fighting. Who will win? Is fighting ok? Or is Aslan as bad as the witch for fighting? Could this be solved a different way?
What do you think Aslan and the Witch will decide? What are they talking about? What do you think of that rule? (That if someone commits treachery, the Queen can take someone's life). Whose life will they decide to take?
Is Aslan good or bad? What do you know so far that makes you think this?
Why might Aslan being back make the Queen so angry? What is your proof for thinking this?
How would you feel if you were Lucy? Give me lots of details and examples of why. The word 'because' will be very handy here.
Edmond has entered Narnia. What do you think will happen next? Write a paragraph with your prediction. Remeber, it doesn't matter whether you are right or wrong as long as you use the clues form the book so far to help you.
What do you think is in the cave? Draw or write to show what you think Lucy will see when she goes in.
Draw a picture of what you think Narnia looks like.
